Terms of Service

Effective 1 October 2026

These terms cover your use of Dwell, a service operated by Memriq Holdings, Inc. ("Memriq", "we"). By using Dwell you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your information.

What Dwell is, and what it is not

Dwell keeps the record of your home — its systems and appliances, their warranties, the people who work on it and what is in it — and suggests what maintenance is due, why, and when you could get it done. Dwell does not book, hire, pay or contact any contractor or anyone else for you, and it does not give a safety sign-off on gas, electrical, structural or any other work. Maintenance suggestions follow common upkeep intervals and the details you give; they are not an inspection. Work on gas, electrical and structural systems needs a licensed professional.

Who can use it

Dwell is in an invitation-only early access period. You need a Memriq account and an invitation that has been accepted for Dwell. Use Dwell for a home you live in, own or are responsible for.

Your account

Keep your sign-in to yourself and tell us at hi@memriq.ai if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Your email and calendar

If you connect your email or calendar, you authorise Dwell to read them to find your home's paperwork and to avoid your busy times when it suggests appointment windows. Dwell reads a message only to propose facts you keep or dismiss, and never stores its text. You can disconnect at any time.

What Dwell does on its own

You choose how far Dwell acts: suggest only, draft for you to approve, or act and tell you. At every level it only writes to your own Helm to-dos, reminders and, if you ask, your calendar. It never books, pays or contacts anyone.

Early access

Dwell is new. Features may change, pause or be removed, and it may be unavailable at times. It is provided as it is, without promises that it will be error-free, that every label or message will be read correctly, or that every task a home needs will be listed.

Price

Dwell costs nothing during early access, and we take no payments for it. If that changes, we will tell you before you are asked to pay, and you will not be charged without agreeing.

Fair use

Do not use Dwell to break the law, to interfere with the service, or to copy or resell it. We may suspend an account that does.

Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, Memriq is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for damage to a home or its contents that follows from a suggestion, a reminder, or a task that was not listed. Nothing in these terms limits a responsibility the law does not let us limit.

Ending

You can stop using Dwell at any time and delete everything it keeps from Settings › Your data, as the Privacy Policy describes. We may end early access, or your access, with notice where we can give it.
